In Rutherford county it’s not just city residents who enjoy a safe, reliable source of water. The founder of Consolidated Utility District and other utilities sought to serve areas that were not considered economically feasible by larger municipal water systems.  Many times, this has meant installing several miles of water line to serve only a few customers.

Our mission continues to be to provide safe drinking water for all residential, industrial and governmental agencies, meeting and exceeding all federal and state standards at the lowest possible cost with high quality, efficiency and integrity.
