- Berkshire Subdivision Water System Improvements
Overall 98% complete and on schedule. During February, approximately 530 feet of 1-inch service lines were installed and 21 service reconnections were completed. This brings the total quantities installed project to date to approximately 6,900 feet of 1-inch service lines, 33 fire hydrant check valves, and 225 service reconnections have been completed. - Windrow Road/Kingwood Lane Water Main Replacement
Overall 50% complete (61% counting stored materials) and on schedule. During February, approximately 2,000 feet of 16-inch, 20 feet of 8-inch, and 80 feet of 6-inch water mains were installed along Windrow Road and Kingwood Lane. This brings the total quantities installed project to date to approximately 440 feet of 20-inch water mains, 9,200 feet of 16-inch, 120 feet of 8-inch, and 250 feet of 6-inch water mains, plus 5 fire hydrants and 37 valves. - Vincion Road Water Line Extension
Overall 99% complete. When this project was originally conceived, CUD required 8 new water taps to be purchased. A total of 14 new water taps have been purchased and installed. - Midland Road Transmission Main
Overall 69% complete. During February, 1,900 feet of 16-inch and 20 feet of 6-inch water mains were installed along Rucker Road, plus 2 fire hydrants and 5 valves. This brings the total quantities installed project to date to approximately 13,900 feet of 16-inch, 120 feet of 8-inch, and 160 feet of 6-inch water mains, plus 17 fire hydrants and 41 valves. - Midland Road Transmission Main
The water line installation is now underway to connect two dead end lines along Rucker Road. The final design and TDEC permitting processes are complete for the 16-inch water main extension along Stewart Creek Road and Old Stewart Creek Road to connect a dead end line to the water main along Baker Road. - Midland Road Water Pumping Station
Overall 5% complete and on schedule. During February, the contractor completed the stone foundation pad for the pump station building and installed stone base for the interior roadway and both entrances to the site. - Rural Water Line Extensions (Hutson Road and Christiana Fosterville Road)
Overall 20% complete and on schedule. During February, approximately 1,900 feet of 8-inch water main was installed along Hutson Road, plus 1 valve. This brings the total quantities installed project to date to approximately 2,200 feet of 8-inch and 20 feet of 6-inch water main, plus 1 fire hydrant and 3 valves.
