How do I apply for Water Service?
Customers may apply for service in person at our office or online. An agreement for service form will need to be signed by the customer. Applicants must have a vested interest in the property, either by name on the deed or a signed lease, prior to application. A one-time, non-refundable, $50 activation fee will be included on their first water bill.
** Please do not apply for new service until you have closed on the property. **
Required Information:

- Billing name
- Property address – if new, Lot Number and Subdivision
- Billing address if different from property
- Daytime and nighttime phone number
- New and transferring customers must provide a valid State or Federally issued photo ID.
- Social Security Number or Business Tax ID Number
- Date service is to be connected
- If renting, applicants must e-mail the fully-executed and signed lease to CustomerInfo@cudrc.com. The lease must include the signatures of the landlord and all adult tenants listed on the lease.
How do I purchase a residential tap in the county?
To purchase a residential tap, visit our office at 709 New Salem Highway in Murfreesboro. You will need to bring your driver’s license, along with a check for payment.
