Open Positions

Engineering Technician

This position assists with reviews of plans and plats for commercial and residential developments pertaining to the construction of new water distribution system infrastructure (such as water mains, fire hydrants, meter vaults, and service lines). Performs and/or assists with review of commercial meter applications. Reviews STEP plot plan submittals to ensure compliance with CUD standards and specifications. Performs GIS editing for project tracking database. Assists with various project management tasks for capital improvement projects involving water and decentralized sewer utility infrastructure (such as water mains, water booster stations, water tanks, recirculating sand filters/STEP treatment facilities, etc.).

Seasonal Meter Service

This position assists with CUD's meter replacement program. The essential functions of this role include inspection of current customer water meters for damage; changing out meter registers and meter transponders as needed; completion of digital work orders on mobile device; and other duties as assigned.

Inventory Specialist

This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, managing stock levels, and ensuring proper storage and distribution of products. The work includes tracking stock levels, coordinating inventory counts, and working with other departments to fulfill orders and manage stock movement efficiently. Responsible for warehouse data entry and backup of Warehouse Coordinator.
