Engineering Manager

This role manages the Capital Improvement Program that includes potable water and/or sanitary sewer (decentralized type) infrastructure projects initiated by Consolidated Utility District (CUD) and those initiated by other government entities (state, county, and municipalities) or by developers. This position provides direct supervision of a team consisting of various positions such as Engineering Project Manager, Project Engineer, Engineer, Civil Designer, and/or Engineering Technician and indirectly an Easement Coordinator and/or related position(s). This role is also accountable for the planning, design, permitting, easement/property acquisition, construction administration, and coordination with inspection of utility infrastructure to ensure projects meet the needs of CUD and adhere to design standards.

Customer Support Representative

This full-time opportunity assists with efficient and effective office operations by performing duties as noted by this job description and supervisory personnel. This includes: managing inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner; identifying customers’ needs and providing solutions; processing move requests for utility service by telephone, correspondence, and in person; answering customer questions pertaining to utility billing; explaining and handling leak adjustment requests; and assisting customers with payment arrangements and purchases of new taps. The successful candidate complies with all policies outlined in our employee handbook.

Water Distribution Technician

This role assists in ensuring continuous operation of water distribution and our delivery system by performing basic maintenance duties as required. This includes: repair of water line and sewer line leaks/breaks; prevention of water contamination during line breaks; repairing or replacing broken meter boxes, lids, meters, meter bottoms, and meter yokes; repair, replacement, or installation of 2- and 3-way fire hydrants; installing or repairing water infrastructure; restoring yards when applicable due to water line installation or repair; basic operation of heavy equipment and more.
