Dashboards by Department
Information Technology
The following information from all departments is based on data from Q2 2025 (April-June). These same dashboards are published in our quarterly newsletter.
These metrics from our Information Technology indicate how much effort is put toward cybersecurity and how GIS (geographic information systems) supports asset management.
Engineering
The metrics shown by Engineering provide a sense of Rutherford County’s continued rapid growth — and the everpresent need for safe, reliable water.
Water Treatment Plant
Our plant has a maximum daily capacity of 32 million gallons and operates on a 24/4 basis. The number of gallons moved is part of our effort to keep the water — and chlorine, our main disinfectant — moving within our service area.
Distribution
Our Distribution Team handles everything from land restoration to main and service line repairs in all weather conditions.
Field Services
These personnel manage meter data and neutralize leaks throughout our more than 1,700 miles of pipe. By keeping our water loss percentages low, they’re able to ensure proper delivery to our customers throughout Rutherford County.
Wastewater
Because our utility relies on decentralized wastewater systems, this team frequently travels to subdivisions throughout the county to monitor our STEP systems (Septic Tank Effluent Pump).
Customer Support
Our representatives field a hundreds of requests from customers each month via phone and email. They also provide customer-facing communication about account setup, transfers, and completion of account service.
